For the longest time I really never dabbled in furry art. On the rare occasions I did create something I always prefered to do so via traditional means. When I returned to the furry fandom in 2024 a close friend sent me a digital tablet as a gift with the hopes that I would use it to explore my talents. In 2025, while swapping some new parts into my computer, I decided to also set up this tablet. While I've never done digital art myself I inherited an ungodly amount of how-to info merely by osmosis thanks to having been around furry artists for a quarter of a century. I know about layering, shading, etc - all of that. I do not profess myself to be "good" at furry art, but I did surprise myself with how quickly I adapted to the technology despite never really having much hands on experience with it. (PS: I do all of my artwork in Adobe Flash, because that's the only program I learned how to use that has comparable functions for doing digital art.)
