I am not currently taking offers for commissions, and do not have any plans to do so in the future.

This page mostly serves the purpose of conveying this to readers so I don't get emails or private messages asking me this very question. My days of doing commission work for other people are behind me now. I'm not seeking the sort of popularity or anything that comes with putting myself out there as some "exclusive catch" for people to brag about getting a commission from. Also, I don't really need the money; I'm not a broke college student anymore. Honestly, I never really enjoyed doing commission work back when I did it 20 years ago anyways. It's just not in my scope of abilities to be a "people pleaser".

If you're interested in tipping or supporting me on something like Patreon or SubscribeStar, I'm flattered but I also do not use any of those platforms. I'm not interested in monetizing my content like that. I discovered a long time ago that making things all about money is a surefire way to torpedo whatever enjoyment you once derived from something. I post my stories (and art sometimes) for everyone to enjoy for free, no strings attached. I do not post my work with the expectation that some of you will throw money at me or sign up for a monthly membership where I'll then feel pressured to post constant updates so no one thinks they are getting ripped off. It's easier for all parties this way. If you like what I do, bookmark the Homepage of this website and check it every once in a while, or if you're a user of SoFurry you can follow me there to get pinged whenever there's something new.

As far as requests go, the answer is generally "no"; most of the stories I write have been outlined and rough drafted ahead of time to feature specific scenes and have a definite ending (even if that ending is a cliffhanger). I tend not to deviate from what I've outlined, however on rare occasions I do sometimes double back to revisit older works to produce "non-canon" alternate scenes where an interaction between two characters is different, doesn't happen, or involves a different character entirely. Those are an exception and not the rule, but if you have any ideas in the way of things like "what would happen if X from Y did Z" you can always leave that as a comment or email it to me if you prefer. I can't promise you I'll write that, but if it intrigues me enough maybe I can work that into something.

Trades are largely conditional. I've been around the block more times than I can be bothered to count and a large number of collaborations that I've been involved with never made it out the door. Often, I've put a considerable amount of work into something where it turns out the other party hasn't for whatever reason. The end result is incredibly lopsided. I usually wound up either trying to rewrite my half of the trade into something that could stand on its own or just shelving the project entirely. Since I've been burned a good many times I am extremely picky about who I will and will not work with, especially because these days I really don't have all the free time I did in my youth. I'm not closed off to trades but my ideal other half would be someone with a decent work ethic who also does not have any weird community baggage. In short, don't be radioactive and demonstrate that you can commit to and do the things you say you will do. If you can hit those two points, my inbox is open.
