Jace, as he appears at the end of my short story The Queen's Suitor. Once a normal deinonychus, he is now a monstrous dinosaur/insect hybrid creature after prolonged exposure to genetic meddling obfuscated as a gene therapy trial.

Unlike most of the other art featured on my website this one was never actually uploaded anywhere else. The main reason for this is because when I drew this I was still in the process of learning how to use my drawing tablet and this was one of the first things I ever drew on it, second after the one of Kazooie laying on her chest. I was also still writing The Queen's Suitor at the time so I figured I'd take a swing at drawing a male character too and drew the transformed version of Jace. Of course, the story had not yet been posted at the time so I didn't want to upload this drawing that essentially spoils the ending of one of my stories so I sat on it instead. I quickly started improving skill-wise as I got a better handle on the tablet, so then the problem became that this drawing looks really rough compared to the others. I figured it was still worth sharing though, so I opted to include it only on my personal website.
