I have had a crush on this damn skunk for more than 30 years. That is probably longer than most of the people who are looking at this drawing have been alive.

Anyways, I am still just working on getting used to this new tablet, and I sort of keep surprising myself with how effortless it is to just do and redo lines and contours over and over until it looks exactly right. I hate admitting that maybe I am much better at digital art than I am traditional. I wonder how things would've been if I figured this out 20+ years ago. Maybe I never would've written any stories. Perhaps it's for the best I didn't figure this out until now, heh. I've been trying to learn shading and shines on latex in my free time. Been looking at a lot of art featuring it and even looking at real-life examples of the effect on things I own that have a similar sheen. Still working on hands (said every artist ever). I should probably stop doing 2/3'ds drawings too so I can start learning how to draw feet otherwise I'm going to get good at doing characters from the thighs up and then the feet are going to look like that meme of the horse drawing.

I haven't really been timing myself on how long it takes to do these. Maybe 8 to 10 hours on this? I've been working on it off and on for a week. Her face took forever to get right.
