Still trying to figure out this digital tablet thing. I am certainly getting better at it though, especially with shading and creating gradients and all that so there isn't just a hard jump between two colors. It's all done by hand, which is time consuming but I do really like the style that results from it. Also, I really think Flash hates working with 10 layers as well as graphics at these dimensions because the program really chugs when there's too much on the screen (and in virtual memory too, I assume).

Anyways, I wanted to try my luck at doing a "variant" piece, where it's essentially the same drawing but there's a slight difference. In this case, a female version of the character and a herm one. Conilou is a character that belongs to a friend of mine, and what furry is going to turn down the offer of FREE ART? No one, that's who. So I decided to draw their character (who is canonically a herm so that was my excuse for asking to use her) as a learning experience.

There's a million things wrong with this picture because being intimately aware of all your mistakes is the one thing that hits every artist that has ever lived. I need to learn a new perspective on tits, because I referenced the latex suit Kazooie I drew previously to do this one. Also, I still suck at hands so I hid one of them but at least made an effort on the other. Feet look weird. Face kinda looks funny from the perspective. Need practice on drawing bedding. Also, I made her ass too big and one of my other friends was teasing me and said it looked like she was wearing a diaper because her underwear had to be drawn big to match. So, yeah basically just a lot wrong with this. But at least the person who this was intended for really appreciated it, and that's all that matters in the long run.
